GENERAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF “MOFAB” MANUFACTURED HOUSING SYSTEM

CHASSIS: 

The Chassis is constructed of IPE-140 along the long sides as girders and IPE-120 cross-beams at the gables and IPE-120 internal cross-beams with lifting lugs. All these steel members are welded together to give the chassis optimum strength, rigidity and stability. All steel members are primed for weather protection.

FLOORS:

A-SUB-FLOOR: is constructed of steel hollow tubes joists size (30 x 60 x 1.2) mm Spaced at (400) mm. c/c with primer coating for weather protection.

B-FLOOR DECK: is made up of (15) mm. thick plywood boards screwed to the sub-floor joists. Marine plywood shall be used for all wet areas.

C-FLOOR COVERING: is of (4) mm. thick carpet except in wet areas and corridor shall be of (2) mm. thick vinyl sheeting.

WALLS:

 External Walls are constructed of sandwich panels (50) mm. thick covered externally with (0.4) mm pre-painted sheeting. Internally the walls are covered with decorative plywood boards and insulated in the middle with polystyrene (50) mm. thick.

Partitions are constructed of insulated sandwich panels (50) mm. thick covered on both sides with decorative plywood boards.  

The wall to floor joints shall be covered with wooden skirting.

ROOFS & CEILINGS:

Roofs are constructed of structural steel trusses and purlins and are covered with corrugated galvanized pre-painted roof sheets (white color).

Ceilings are covered with (6) mm. thick decorative plywood boards and insulated with a layer of fiberglass (50) mm. thick. The exposed face shall be finished with texture paint and the clear height is about 240cm.from the finished floor level.  

WINDOWS

Windows are made of white aluminum profiles of the sliding type complete with

fly-screens.

DOORS

Internal Doors are made of a wooden frames and are covered both sides with the same decorative plywood boards used for internal walls.                                               

External Doors are covered externally with pre-painted sheeting and decorative plywood wood boards internally.

All internal and external doors are fitted with good quality door locks.

All doors are insulated with Styrofoam.

ELECTRICAL

Electrical networks are executed in accordance with approved drawings. All electrical wiring is embedded inside the walls and ceiling. The light fixtures are of fluorescent type or round type incandescent. Sufficient light fittings shall be provided to have proper illumination.

Adequate no. of socket outlets, A/C sockets and lighting switches shall be provided in each room.

All the electrical wiring shall be connected o a Main panel Board with suitable breakers.

SANITARY

Bathrooms: Walls of bathrooms are covered with water resistant sheets. Each bathroom is provided with: European water closet, wash basin with mixer, mirror, shelf, soap holder, spray hose, paper holder.

Kitchens: Walls of kitchens are similar to bathroom walls. Each kitchen is provided with a stainless steel sink with mixer. 

All bathrooms and kitchens are provided with suitable size of exhaust fan. The water distribution networks shall be pressure tested in the factory after installation.

QUALITY CONTROL

Our specialized quality control section inspects and controls the quality of all our products during fabrication and on regular basis. MOFAB always welcomes the customer’s inspectors to view and perform any tests deemed necessary.
